19th June 2011, Sunday.
Johor Bahru Paintball Centre held another series of Sunday match
where all local JB and their neighbour, Singapore, sent in teams
to compete in this fun yet competitive event.
Complete with medals and gold pieces (Gold Dinar) as its podium
prizes, 14 teams were present in a M3-format speedball game.
6 Singapore teams and 8 Johor teams were present.
Team Shockwaves, compromising of some Singaporean and pinoy
players make a debut appearence in this event. However their joy
were short lived but they truly earn the experience playing among all
the teams.
Team SKIN, sent in 2 teams and both did farely well to reach the
Quarters and kudos to their core player, Khairul for earning the
title and bragging rights for year 2011 as King of 1-vs-1. Congrats.
Team RagDolls, sent in 2 teams also. Cant recall their team name
but DavePagan, Saiful Ninja and their crew sure make a whole lot
tougher for all the teams to fight and reach the top.
Lastly, our owned
Team EnRaGeD, compromising of 2 core players,
Azmi Frickem and Hidayat PaPaGo and our new blood,
Fidah Da_Fid together earned the 1st Runner-up (2nd Pos)
A few bad games in the prelims with 3 win, 2 draw and a lost,
Da_Fid learn well and master a few skills too and thanks to JBPC,
the mynpl field layout sure teach us alot.
Winning the Quarterfinals with a 1-vs-1 faceoff, Frickem
proves his mettle and the team proceed up to the Semis.
Our Johor Counterparts, from Team Jackal, Team OSB
Pirates, MBT all sent in their representatives and thus
the event was a whole lot more tougher with seasoned
players and teams. But importantly of all everyone enjoy
the events and thus far, all getting ready for this coming
MYNPL Leg 3.
